Paral Mehta earned her B.A. LL.B. (Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Laws) in India, where she actively participated in moot courts, national and international conferences, and volunteered with non-profit legal organisations. She also gained professional experience as an Associate Legal Advisor at a corporate firm. In 2022, Paral moved to Canada and completed the Paralegal Program at Georgian College, Barrie. She is currently a Judicial Assistant at the Superior Court of Justice, supporting a panel of four judges across Family, Criminal, and Civil-Commercial law. Before this role, Paral worked as a Legal Assistant/Law Clerk at boutique law firms in Ontario, specializing in immigration, criminal and mental health law. Alongside her professional commitments, she is actively working toward her Canadian lawyer’s licensing** and preparing for the NCA exams. Passionate about mentorship, she is dedicated to guiding internationally trained lawyers through the NCA process and supporting candidates on their licensing journey.
